The hotel was ideally located in the St Germain area close to the Metro, restaurants and many sightseeing areas on foot.
The breakfast was rather expensive but there were many local cafes as an alternative.
The room was comfortable with big opening windows for fresh air, staff helpful and informative, location was ideal
For our purposes there was nothing about the hotel we did not like
Very nice staff and they talk very good English. The location is perfect especially in the evening and if you like to go on a coffeebar in the morning for breakfast. When we came back from a trip in Bordeaux they allowed us to leave our bags a half day before we carried on to the airport - And it was free. We gave them some nice chocolate. I was also very close to the Metro Odéon.
room and bath were tiny, but clean and bed was comfortable. Room 21's bathroom is so narrow that heavyset people could be very uncomfortable. Fortunately we were slim enough. Great area, close to metro and many restaurants.
The location was excellent within walking distance to most of the major tourist attractions.
Bathroom as just an after thought, was tiny, but did the job.
As I was there for work, it would have been helpful to have wifi in the room as well as in the lobby. The single room is very tiny but it was clean and nice to have a bed that was larger than a single. When weather was hotter and the room was stuffy, a fan appeared in my room. Bathroom is at one end of room behind a curtain.
The location was ideal. The best encounter was with the woman on Sunday morning who was very empathetic and understanding of the situation. She was a breath of fresh air. The bed itself was comfortable enough but the French seem to only provide two small pillows which drove my boyfriend nuts.
Hallways, stairs, and a room so narrow you could easily get stuck. They double-booked our room and without telling us they relocated all of our luggage and personal items to a worse room. You might think that we would get priority given we were already in that room. By worse room, I mean that we went from having a room with a window and a view onto the beautiful, lively street to a view looking into another hotel room. The young men working in the evening was rather mediocre at making anyone feel welcome on arrival or apologetic for the move.
The location is fantastic. The staff was very friendly.
The room was tiny and the bathroom even smaller; I had to turn sideways getting out of the shower to get around the sink. The stairs up to my room tilted in so that it was challenging keeping balance going up, especially with bags and luggage. The wi-fi did not work in my room so I had to go into the lobby to use my computer. When I wanted to video-chat with my family at home (using the lobby in order to access wi-fi) I had to whisper because there were two guest rooms on the lobby floor.
The second night we were moved to Room 43. This is a good size with a 4 poster bed and separate bathroom. Perfect. If we had spent both nights in this room we would have had no complaint.
The first night we were put in Room 42. The bedroom was ok but there was nothing - no door or curtain - between bedroom and bathroom/toilet. We immediately complained and were moved for the second night. Room 42 is unacceptable and the shower leaked everywhere.
Wifi does not work at the top floor. Had to change rooms the next day.
Very tiny bathroom Lack of air conditioner (too much noise for opening the window) Dark room (window on a 1 meter wide court in front of another window)
Location was excellent - close to metro and sights. Quirky but small room. Good, hot shower.
Our room was located on the ground floor, right next to reception and opposite a bar so was noisy at night and in the mornings. Bed was lumpy. Expensive for what you get but then again it's Paris.
The location was perfect, just a minutes walk to the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, the metro. Loved how close we were to everything!
great location, good value, helpful staff, close to Odeon metro stop
no elevator, smallish rooms,
4th floor without a lift; wi-fi didn't work; primissed me a big double bed but when I arrived told that all the beds were litle; no mini-bar; no facilities; room and wc with no space at all!!! the worst choice you can make
